Helping our Clients Build In-house Sand Control Expertise

Updated: Feb 23, 2022

Last year was a very challenging one for the oil and gas industry due to the pandemic and travel restrictions but things have started to pick up again. Following the reductions in workforce and loss of expertise over the past year, we are now helping our clients train their engineers and build in-house sand control expertise in preparation for upcoming projects. Adapting to the new environment, DuneFront has modified its training courses for more effective online delivery, making our experienced instructors available to our clients around the world. We conducted multiple online training sessions throughout 2020, with the most recent being for an operator in the Asia Pacific region. This training focused on open hole shunted gravel pack design and post-treatment pressure analysis, and was conducted over a three-day period, with interactive exercises and case studies from the industry.

DuneFront has also been busy supporting clients with their ongoing and upcoming operations. We have completed a variety of interesting consulting projects in the past few months, including screen and gravel selection for multiple thru-tubing gravel packs in South East Asia, a sand control technique selection review in Noth America and the design of shunt tube treatment in a complex tight margin open hole reservoir for a major project in West Africa.

We are constantly working to stay updated and committed to delivering the highest levels of service and support to our clients. Get in touch if you have any sand control consulting or training requirements and we will work with you to create a custom solution, whether that be online or in person.
